Little League International Volunteer Coaching Requirements:

 

Every Year

• Undergo a background check through J.D. Palantine: If you are chosen to be a coach, your email will be submitted to JDP and you will receive an email from them with instructions on completing the process.  This background  check must be completed annually, so if you have previously coached with Tenafly Little League, the background check must still be completed.

 

• Complete the Abuse Awareness Training Course: available at https://www.littleleague.org/university/, create an account if it your first time (League Listed under "Tenafly Lions LL.")
  • Upon completion of training, email a copy of the certificate to tenaflylittleleagueinfo@gmail.com.

One Time

• Complete the Diamond Leader Program: available at https://www.littleleague.org/university/, create an account if it your first time (League Listed under "Tenafly Lions LL.")
  • Upon completion of training, email a copy of the certificate to tenaflylittleleagueinfo@gmail.com.
